On 15.12.2021 during an official press conference was announced the new branch association of manufacturers and importers of agricultural machinery and technology in Bulgaria – AGROTECH.
AGROTECH was founded by 36 Bulgarian companies and it was registered on 19.10.2021. Some of the association’s main goals are: To create modern conditions and development for the production and sale of agricultural machinery and technologies in Bulgaria; To be the basis for the unification of all producers and importers of agricultural machinery and technologies in Bulgaria.
AGROTECH is with a non-commercial activity and will negotiate equal general conditions for all members.
It is managed by the Management Board, which consists of four members elected by the General Assembly: Chairman of the Management Board and three members of the Management Board for a term of 2 years:
- Nikolay Mitev – Chairman of the Board of AGROTECH (General Manager at INOVEX Group)
- Lyubomir Zanev Deputy – Chairman of the Board (Managing Director at Agromachina Group OOD)
- Kaloyan Kumanov – Member of the Board of AGROTECH (Managing Director at NIK Smart Machines AD)
- Mehmed Ymerov – Member of the Board of AGROTECH (Managing Director at Agrotron 2007 EOOD)
“Automation and digitalization in the sector are trends that need the right regulations – whether we are talking about a field robot or a drone, it is important that regulations develop along with technology. This is one of the directions in which we want to be useful to the state administration, ” said Kaloyan Kumanov during the press conference.
One of the first projects of AGROTECH will be in collaboration with the International Fair Plovdiv AD. The project is about AGRA’s new look / the well-known agriculture exhibition/.
The exhibition will be held from 23 to 27 February 2022 in Plovdiv, International Fair. AGROTECH will be a co-organizer and will work for a professional exhibition, where everyone will have the opportunity to present their products without restrictions.
